Q:How much does it cost to become a reseller?
Click here for full details. A:Get your
set-up fees waived and save by paying quarterly or yearly
in advance. There is no minimum number of accounts to
sign-up.

Q:How fast are your connections?
A:Our servers are located in Calgary in a secure,
network center and are connected to Western Canada's
Premier fiber provider (Shaw Big Pipe). The network
is monitored around the clock. All HIC/HIA Data Centers
are engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible
power, around-the-clock monitoring and more.

Q:What are your server specifications?
A:Current servers are 2.4GHz Pentium IV machines with
2 GB of RAM and dual 120 Gb hard drives.

Q:What types of payment do you accept?
A:We accept Cheques, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Pay Pal
or Money Orders.

Q:How do I transfer my site To HIC
Servers?
A:
Step 1: Sign up with us just as if it was a new
account.
Step 2: Within a few minutes you will receive
an email from us stating that your account has been
set up and issuing your an account number and information
on accessing your account.
Step 3: Transfer your content and test your
site on our server with your IP number.
Step 4:
Then e-mail a domain name transfer request to the appropriate
registrar company, the company that you initially registered
your domain name through. Use the HIC/HIA name servers
that are on the signup form when transferring your domain
name.
HIC/HIA name servers:
-Primary DNS Server hostname: ns1.hostedincanada.com
-Secondary DNS Server hostname: ns2.hostedincanada.com
Step 5: Once you verify the transfer, the registrar
will point your domain name to our name server, and
the rest of the world will be able to access your new
site on our server with your domain name. Please note:
it sometimes takes up to 24-72 hours for the registrar
changes to take place on all service providers globally.
You may experience people not viewing your new site
for this period.

Q:Is there a 30 day money back guarantee
for resold accounts?
A:Yes, this is applies to all of our hosting services.
It does not apply to domain names.

Technical Questions
Q:I changed my control panel password
and now I can't get in.
A:Passwords are case sensitive. If you need your username
and password emailed to your main admin email, click
here.
Q:Do you handle international domains?
A:We currently house domains from other countries,
and can house any valid extension. To see a listing
of domain names that can be registered by HIC/HIA click
here.

Q:How do I set up new hosting accounts?
A:You can set up accounts immediately through your
Reseller Administrator Control Panel. More information

Q:Do you have a secure certificate that
I can use?
A:No, but you can get more details on purchasing a
SSL cert here or please contact us for
more information about secure certificates.

Q:How do I get my email?
A:If you're familiar with your email client's setup,
use the following information to retrieve email from
your POP account:
Incoming mail (POP3) server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com

Q:Do the resold accounts come with
it's own cgi-bin directory also?
A:Yes Each virtual domain is a fully featured hosting
package and gets its own directory and within that directory
you have a separate cgi-bin directory for that site's
cgi programs.

Q:Can I upgrade my plan or features later?
A:The system has the capability to block sites that
exceed their data transfer limit. This will be done
at the owner's option of course, so you will have the
choice to continue using more data transfer and pay
more at the end of the month, or stop using more data
transfer but no need to pay more at the end of the month.
